Digital RVG X-rays (Digital radiography) is a form of digital X-ray imaging, where digital X-ray sensors are used instead of traditional photographic film. Most important advantage is that digital X-rays reduce radiation by 1000 times as compared to conventional dental X-rays. Other advantages include time efficiency through bypassing chemical processing and the ability to digitally transfer and enhance images.
